DIRECTOR'S NOTES

Director's Notes
Role: Intern Writer
In early 2017, I had the opportunity to work for the highly respected independent film website, Director's Notes.
Although I only wrote for the site for a short period, I was able to gain a lot of knowledge and had the privilege to interview talented filmmakers across the world.
A highlight was being able to interview Director, Carlos Lopez Estrada (Blindspotting) on his music video for "Stick to Your Guns" by Watsky, an artist whose music I've come to adore since.
The role included me searching for unique and original films on Vimeo, which really helped to expand my horizons to the wealth of diverse stories being made that I wasn't aware of previously.

FOOTBALL MEDIA
SON OF CHELSEA

RECENT VIDEOS
YouTube Channel
Time: August 2014-Present
Genre: Football
Watch Here
Created in 2014, I set up this channel as a side passion project to share my views on the football club I support, Chelsea. Growing up in West London and coming from a family who've supported the club for generations, its a big part of my life and who I am.
Posting match previews and reviews to begin with, I started to gain a following, improving production quality whilst collaborating with other content creators on the platform to expand the channel's name, reaching 1K subscribers by October of 2015.
With a lot of hyperbolic, outlandish content on YouTube regarding the sport, I felt there was a gap for a calmer, reasoned, in-depth type of channel as an alternative. Despite having to stop due to commitments to filmmaking and University, the channel sparked a journey into football media that hasn't stopped, leading me to meet and work with great people.
In June 2019 I relaunched the channel, hoping to grow it bigger and better than before. In the time since relaunching the channel has gone from under 2,000 subs to nearly 25,000 growing a devoted and consistent audience with almost daily content covering the club. I have been able to collaborate with so many great members of the Chelsea online community and see my creative vision through, continuing to improve the visuals and audio along the way.
90Min Football News

90Min Football News
Role: Writer
Time: May-September 2018
Over the summer of 2018 I had the opportunity to intern with 90Min Football, a well-known news site regarding the sport.
During my four-month period with the site I published 104 articles, that garnered over 900,000 reads. From most of my other previous work in football media, the time at 90Min tasked me with covering all types of clubs, with all types of news stories - helping me to learn more and improve my writing.
Along with news pieces and lists, the site also presented the opportunity to create opinion pieces and in-depth match reports, which put me on a tight deadline which was eye-opening and helped test my skills.
You can read my articles for the site here.
